The Encore Players

recreate the best

dramas, mysteries,

comedies and variety

 programs from the

 “Golden Age of Radio.”

 All of the Encore Players are over the age of 50 with normally 12 players at any one given time performing scripts from radio shows from the 1930s and 1940s. Neither theatre experience nor memorization is required to be a part of the group. The Encore Players have  appeared at club meetings, schools, nursing homes, social events, as well as on the stage at Theatre Atchison.
