Costume & Tuxedo Rental

Our Resident Costume Mistress is Mrs. Connie Shalz. All costume rental is by appointment only. Please contact Theatre Atchison’s office at (913) 367-1647 or email costumes@theatreatchison.org to make an appointment.

For Individuals

Period and specialty costumes are available for rent to individuals for parties, events and field trips. All rental fees will be determined on an individual basis. Generally, a minimum $10 refundable deposit is required, with rental fees of $5 per day or $15 per week per costume. Costumes should be returned clean and in good condition. Deposit will be returned based on the condition of returned items. 

 

Cast-quantities of costumes are available for rent to schools, churches and theatres. Deposits and fees will be determined based upon the style and quantity of costumes required. Generally, fees range from $50 to $300. Costumes should be returned dry-cleaned or laundered and in good condition. Additional fees will be assessed if items need laundering or are damaged or missing.

Tuxedos are available to rent for proms and other formal events. Tuxedo rental requires a refundable $25 deposit plus a $25 rental fee per week. Tuxedos should be dry-cleaned before being returned.
